Salisbury Steak Elevates Ground Beef

Tender beef patties smothered in mushroom gravy.

Ground beef is an American dinner menu staple. We grill, fry, bake and oven roast ground beef. We make ground beef into sandwiches and meat balls and loaves.  We serve ground beef with pasta, on bread and with potatoes or rice.  And we get oh-so-very-bored with ground beef too!

That’s why I consider Salisbury Steak (yes that’s how you actually spell it.) is a perfect way to elevate ground beef to a delicious meal.  I serve it with mashed potatoes, rice or noodles and turn everyday boring ground beef into a tasty weeknight meal. ~ML

Tip: If you use lean beef – less than 15% fat – add 1 Tbsp of water per pound to mixture.
